Adwords Image Sizes

In Google Adwords there are two options to create ads:-

  • Text Ads
  • Image Ads

It is easy to create Text Ads in comparison to Image Ads. Here We are going to read about Adwords image sizes and some guidelines which would help you a lot.

Image Size

Why is the size of image so important? If we are presenting something to the customers and it is not properly visible, can we expect a positive response? Of course not. Always use high quality of images with proper image sizes. Here are dimensions of images which is being applied to the google ads images. Kindly follow this dimension and its ration too:

NOTE – The size limit for all image ads is 150 Kb.

  • Medium Rectangle (300×250)
  • Large Rectangle (336×280)
  • Leaderboard (728×90)
  • Half Page (300×600)
  • Large Mobile Banner (320×100)

Most Common Ads Image Sizes

  • 250 x 250 – Square
  • 200 x 200 – Small Square
  • 468 x 60 – Banner
  • 728 x 90 – Leaderboard
  • 300 x 250 – Inline Rectangle
  • 336 x 260 – Large Rectangle
  • 120 x 600 – Skyscraper
  • 160 x 600 – Wide Skyscraper
  • 300 x 600 – Half-Page Ad
  • 970 x 90 – Large Leaderboard
  • 320 x 50 – Mobile Leaderboard

Now you know every images dimension. Use this dimensions and increase your campaign performance.
